It was once rumored that founder Dana Wright
was so shy she couldn’t
stand up in front of a group. To see Dana managing a group process
with 50 strong-willed managers, you’d know this would HAVE
to be a fable.

Dana, a third
generation San Franciscan, lives in the heart of the Silicon Valley;
her work takes her around the globe, feeding her desire to travel
and learn about how others think and live. She loves to help people
find their direction and create their own map to get there…and
then, described as a catalyst since she was young…to TAKE
ACTION! She is strong and yet sensitive, so people find her approachable
as well as easy and fun to work with. Her creativity is evident in
the processes she creates and the outcomes of what she creates with
her clients.

A
bundle of energy, personality and perceptive vision that I remember
from our initial planning meeting, global meeting and all the subsequent
regional meetings. Well it was all a major success, and you must
feel really good about your part in creating such a positive feel
to the organization. You really excelled as a consultant to this
operation.

your ideas to a world that doesn't exist and then populate it with
fantastic-looking people." |

Dana finds it important to
develop relationships with her clients which, in turn, bring out
her best work. She loves to speak to groups and share her experiences
and hear from others. She also enjoys working with people individually
as a coach, knowing that the most successful people find it hard
to separate their passion for their work and their passion for their
life and have a clear picture of where they’re trying to move
toward. She believes in the law of attraction…’when
we can focus on what we WANT and create clear intention, we are more
likely to put our energy into the things that will bring us satisfaction
and joy.’ (for more, check out Michael Losier’s book
Law of Attraction, or his website, www.lawofattractionbook.com).

Relationships are important in her collaborations with colleagues
and consultants as well. In order to deliver the best products and
processes possible, she maintains an extensive network of highly
talented and diverse professionals that allow her to serve as project
manager and project coordinator for larger events. This allows her
to maintain excellent client relationships for smaller events and
deliver the same level of service by being a one stop shop for projects
requiring a higher level of diversity.

Dana
holds a Master of Science in Organization Development from the
University of San Francisco and a Bachelors Degree in Psychology
from UC San Diego. She had also taken every course (at least
once!) in graphic visioning, facilitation and recording through
The Grove Consultants International (www.thegrove.com) and completed
coaching training through the Coaches Training Institute (www.thecoaches.com).
Dana’s visual approach to her work is highly effective
in creating understanding, dialogue and engagement. When Dana
is not working hard with her clients, you’ll find her on
the courts working on her tennis game, finishing her laps in
the pool or, when the snow comes, skiing with her daughters in
Tahoe.
